Sample Itinerary
DAY 1
Arrival Delhi by flight
- Meeting and assistance on arrival & transfer from airport to hotel (standard check-in time at hotel is 1400 Hrs).
- Rest of the day is at leisure for own activities.
- Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2
In Delhi
- After breakfast, proceed for the guided city tour of Old & New Delhi.
- In Old Delhi visit the historic Red Fort (only photo stop from outside) – Shah Jehan’s elegant citadel in red sandstone. Very near the Fort is the Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque), India’s largest mosque, also built by Shah Jahan. Go for an interesting walking tour through the famous bazaars of Chandni Chowk, which is adjacent to both the Fort and the Mosque. Also visit Raj Ghat – the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.
- Afternoon guided sightseeing of New Delhi & visit India Gate, the memorial of the First World War and the road that leads from there to President House, which is flanked by the houses of Parliament and the Government Secretariat buildings.
- Welcome Indian lunch at local restaurant.
- Visit Lotus Temple – although the temple belongs to the Baha’i sect, is open to people of all faiths. Baha’i religion, an independent, is a very important prayer and meditation tools to progress in the human.
- Visit the Qutub Minar, a Tower of Victory that was built in the 12th century by Qutbuddin Aibak. You will observe the earliest examples of domes and arches in India and see the fusion of Hindu carving skills with Muslim technology and design
- EVENING OPTIONAL VISIT OF AKSHARDHAM TEMPLE
- Visit Akshardham Temple and witness the essence of Hinduism at Akshardham Temple one of the biggest and most intricate religious places of worship ever constructed. A visit to this monument is a journey though the gateway to the essence of ancient India and the best of Hindu culture and Vedic civilization. The monument is a fusion of pink stone and pure white marble, where pink stone symbolizes bhakti in eternal bloom and white marble that of absolute purity and eternal peace. (Closed on Mondays)

DAY 3
Delhi - Agra by surface (203 kms/3.5 hrs)
- After breakfast, drive to Agra. On arrival check in at the hotel.
- Afternoon sightseeing of the Mehtab Bagh, The place is an ideal spot for it provides picturesque view of Taj Mahal. The name Mehtab Bagh means ‘Moon Lit Garden’ and the same was testified by the beautiful reflection of Taj Mahal in the pool at night in Mehtab Bagh. The place has a history of its own. It is believed that the great emperor Shah Jahan who built Taj Mahal for his queen wanted an identical one for himself at Mehtab Bagh. However the archaeological findings have proved the existence of garden complex. Whatever the popular beliefs be, the place is worth a visit as it provides bewitching image of Taj Mahal.

DAY 4
In Agra
- After breakfast, we will take you for sightseeing tour of Agra which includes beautiful Taj Mahal.
- First we will visit the majestic marble edifice, Taj Mahal. The Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal in the memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal. Taj Mahal, the epitome of love and romance stands on the banks of river Yamuna. The architecture is considered as the finest specimen of Mughal style of architecture. The architecture is highly inspired from different styles of architecture, which includes Persian, Indian and Turkish. Taj Mahal architecture is truly splendid and one of its kind in the world. The design & layout of Taj Mahal never fails to enrapture architects, engineers, historians as well as common man. (Closed on Fridays)
- Visit Agra Fort is among the finest examples of the fusion architecture that has dominated the Mogul period. The assimilation of these different styles has given the buildings within the fort a distinctive look. To name a few, for example, the Jahangir Palace built by Akbar is the most magnificent blend of Persian and local style whereas Divan-e-Aam mixes subtleness of Turkish exteriors with the complex pattern of Persian architecture. Babur stayed in the fort in the palace of Ibrahim.

DAY 5
Agra-Fatehpur Sikri- Ranthambore (315 kms /06 Hrs)
- After breakfast, you will drive to Ranthambore; while driving Ranthambore you will stop at Fatehpur Sikri for a brief period.
- Fatehpur Sikri was once the capital of the Mughal Empire. The city boasts of some of the magnificent monuments of the medieval period. Akbar, the great Mughal Emperor, made it the capital but was later abandoned due to scarcity of water. The buildings at Fatehpur Sikri present a unique blend of Hindu and Islamic architectural styles. Some of the attractions at Fatehpur Sikri are the Panch Mahal, the Buland Darwaza and the Dargah of Sheikh Salim Chisti.
- After this visit we drive to Ranthambore National Park.
- On arrival, check-in at hotel. Rest of the day is free for own activities.
- Dinner & Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 6
Ranthambore
- At dawn we make a safari trip through the flora and fauna-rich Ranthambore National Park, the habitat of the famous Bengal tiger. Also wild boar, deer, foxes, leopards, panthers, jackals, hyenas, crocodiles and more than 270 bird species feel at home here. The park is located between the mountain ranges Aravalli and Vindhya and houses jungle, lakes and ancient ruins.
- Located on the intersection of Aravali and Vindhyas, Ranthambore National Park is approximately 11 km from Sawai Madhopur. Once a princely game preserve, Ranthambore is the best place to get a glimpse of the Tiger. The geography of the park ranges from gentle and steep slopes of the Vindhyas to sharp and conical hills of the Aravali. Having a unique topography, the jungle is scattered with grasslands at the plateaus, pastures in gorges and flourishing foliage around the canals.
- Come back to Hotel for breakfast, rest of the day free till afternoon.
- Afternoon you will have another opportunity for tiger spotting during your second games drive by sharing canter of the day.
- Lunch, Dinner & Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 7
Ranthambore – Pushkar (270 kms /5.5 Hrs)
- After the breakfast, checkout from Hotel.
- The journey continues to Pushkar, originated on the shores of the lake that arose when the god Brahma dropped a petal from his hand. It is a lively pilgrimage town with about 300 Hindu temples, one of which is dedicated to Brahma as the only temple in India.
- We take a look at the Lord Brahma temple and walk through the city and the holy Pushkar Lake, where many believers come to bathe and pray for forgiveness and healing of many diseases.
- Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 8
Pushkar - Jojawar (180 kms /04Hrs)
- After breakfast leave for Jojawar, Rich in rocks and forests, with a single farm and the Aravali hills in the east, a beautiful environment.
- Enjoy the Rural Jeep Safari
It is said that the real India is its rural areas, the country around Jojawar boasts of very interesting landscapes, with the picturesque Aravalli Hills in the east, and broken rocky hills interspersed with farms and scrub forests all around. The Pre- Cambrian Aravalli Hills are one of the oldest mountain ranges of the world, and a geologist’s paradise. The camel herding Rabaris are an ethnic group only to be found around Jojawar. All this makes our Jeep Safaris the most popular excursion. Our specially designed late afternoon tours take you to homesteads of these Rabaris, into farms, through pretty little hamlets where time seems to have stopped, and we take a break under the shade of a drooping acacias next to a very beautiful small shrine dedicated to a folk deity. Some routes had to be excavated so as to see as much in the given time. Our endeavor is to make your excursions interactive and not merely a drive in the country. Unlike any other, our jeep safaris are undertaken in our fleet of classic vintage vehicles – which makes the whole experience very special. Longer rides to your taste and ability are recommended for people staying longer.

DAY 9
Jojawar – Udaipur (155 kms /3.5 Hrs)
- After the breakfast we head towards ‘City of lakes’ Udaipur is built around the three lakes Pichola, Fateh Sagar and Swaroop Sagar. The beautiful city is a ‘cool’, romantic oasis in the dry desert of Rajasthan. Fairy-tale gardens, palaces, temples and rolling hills create a very special atmosphere.
- Arrive and check inn to hotel.

DAY 10
Udaipur
- Morning will start with a sightseeing tour of the city. You will be visiting Jagdish Temple. Maharana Jagat Singh I built the Jagdish temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, in 1651. It houses an image of Lord Vishnu in black stone, along with a brass image of Garuda, his carrier. Covering the exterior and the plinth are base relief of alligators, elephants, horsemen and celestial musicians, rising in rows. It is the largest temple in Udaipur.
- Visit Saheliyon Ki Bari, the garden of maidens, was built by Maharana Sangram Singh in the mid-18th century. Pools with elegant kiosks, flowerbeds, lawns, pools, fountains, along with an array of trees make this garden eye-catching. There is also a sitting room decorated with paintings and glass mosaics in the garden. Fateh Sagar Lake originally built in 1678 by Maharana Jai Singh; Fateh Sagar was rebuilt by Maharana Fateh Singh after the rains destroyed the dam.
- Later explore City Palace a fusion of Medieval European and Chinese architecture, the City Palace was built by Maharaja Udai Singh. This marble monument is situated on the eastern banks of Lake Pichola. Numerous balconies, towers and cupolas of the palace provide a marvelous view of the lake and the city below. A triple arched gate called Tripolia, built in 1725, provides the entry to the palace.
- Late afternoon you will enjoy a leisurely boat ride on Lake Pichola. With its main attractions being the two palaces on the islands in the lake, Jagniwas and Jagmandir; Lake Pichola is about 4 km in length and 3 km wide. Jagniwas was earlier the summer retreat of the prince of Mewar and now a five-star hotel.

DAY 11
Udaipur – Jodhpur (260 Kms/05 Hrs)
- After breakfast checkout from Hotel.
- Accompanied by monkeys along the way, we drive through the Aravali Hills passing various villages to Jodhpur, situated on the edge of the Thar Desert. Also called the ‘blue city’, because of the blue painted houses. The atmosphere in this city with colorful bazaars, food stalls and narrow streets is very special.
- Later in the afternoon proceed for city tour of Jodhpur starting from Mehrangarh Fort.
- Our attention goes naturally to the powerful Mehrangarh fort, which is located on a 125 meter high rock that towers above the city. In the fort we see palaces, courtyards and the artillery of the Rajput fighters. Of course we also enjoy the view over the city.
- Also visit Jaswant Thada; a royal cenotaph built in the memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. A white marble memorial, the cenotaph is adorned with exquisite carvings. It houses the portraits of the former rulers of Jodhpur. Built like a temple, the Thada is a perfect example of skill of the Jodhpuri sculptors.

DAY 12
Jodhpur - Jaipur (340 Kms/6.5 Hrs)
- After breakfast head towards the next highlight of our trip is Jaipur. This capital city of Rajasthan is known as the ‘pink city’ because of the color in which the buildings in the old city are painted. Elephants and camels are part of the fascinating street scene and the city is rich in forts, majestic palaces and temples.
- Arrive and check inn to hotel.

DAY 13
Jaipur
- After breakfast, you will explore the massive Amber Fort (ascending the fort on elephant back). This morning you will drive 11kms in the outskirts of the city to visit Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the State until 1728. Visit the Temple of Kali, the Hall of Victory or Jai Mahal and Jagmandir. You can have the unique experience of traveling on elephant back to the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. It has halls of Public and Private Audience, a Sheesh Mahal (hall of mirrors) various marble palaces which are marvellous examples of ancient Rajput architecture. The Temple of Amba (Mother Goddess), the patron deity of the Royal family is at the entrance to the palace.
- Afternoon city tour of the pink city, visit the City Palace – the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles which houses a museum with a superb collection of Rajasthani costumes and armoury of the Mughals and Rajputs, including swords of different shapes and sizes with ornate handles. It has an art gallery with an excellent collection of miniature paintings, carpets, royal paraphernalia and rare astronomical works in Arabic, Persian, Latin and Sanskrit.
- Also visit the Jantar Mantar – an astrological and astronomical Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in 18th century, which is remarkable for its accuracy even at the present times.
- Stop at Palace of Winds for taking pictures. Later back to the hotel & rest.
- Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 14
Jaipur – Delhi - Depart (260 Kms/5.5 Hrs)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- A well-deserved free morning to explore Jaipur on your own. You have access to your hotel room until about 12 p.m.
- We then travel back to Delhi.
- Tonight you will be finally departing after a joyous trip of 2 weeks to the Incredible India, you will be transferred to the International airport to board your flight back home with unforgettable memories and one fully-loaded camera.
