Sample Itinerary

DAY 1

Arrival in Bangalore/Bengaluru

Arrive in Bangalore by flight. Welcome and assistance at the airport.

After Lunch proceed for city tour of Bangalore, visiting the major attractions of the city. Tour will include a visit to the Tipu Sultan Summer Palace in Bangalore, Nandi Temple, Vidhana Soudha, Lal Bagh Botanical Garden, etc… 

Overnight stay at the hotel in Bengaluru.

DAY 2

Bangalore – Mysore

After breakfast departure to Mysore.
En route, visit to the Tipu Sultan Summer Palace in Srirangapatnam Fort. 
Continue to Mysore.
Mysore city tour:  this includes City Palace, Chamundi Hill, Shri Chamundeshwari Temple and the giant Nandi.
At the end of the afternoon stroll in Devaraja Market.

DAY 3

Mysore / Dasara Festival

Experience the Dasara Festival. Must be the day of the grand elephant parade. Witness the traditional Dasara procession held on the streets of Mysore city. The main attraction of this procession is the idol of the Goddess Chamundeshwari, which is placed in a golden howdah on the top of a decorated elephant. In the evening witness the Torchlight Parade.

DAY 4

Mysore – Hassan

Today after morning breakfast, we will check out from the hotel in Mysore and leave for Hassan. En-route, we will stop at Halebid and Belur to visit its ancient temples that are famous worldwide for their Hoysala architecture. Halebid accurately means ruined city as it was ruined twice by the Bahmani Sultanate. Previously known as Dwarasamudra, the city was the regal capital of the Hoysala Empire in the 12th century. It is home to one of the finest examples of Hoysala workmanship in the lavish Kedareswara and Hoysaleswara temples.

Belur is a small town that is famous worldwide for its Chennakeshava temple which is one of the finest examples of Hoysala style architecture.

DAY 5

Hassan – Hospet

Drive to Hospet through the Deccan plateau.
Stops to discover villages along the way.

Overnight stay at Royal Orchid Keeriti.

DAY 6

Hospet - Hampi – Hospet

After breakfast in the morning, we will leave for the sightseeing tour of Hampi (UNESCO World Heritage Sites), which is a about 13 kms away visiting Virupaksha Temple, Sister Stones, Sasive Kalu Ganesha, Kadale Kalu Ganesha, Lakshmi Narasimha, Badavi Linga, Krishna Temple, Underground Temple, Lotus Mahal, Mint House, Elephant Stables, Hazara Rama Temple, Mahanavami Dibba, Palace Area, etc. 

Later , we visit to the Vijaya Vittala Temple (Stone Chariot), Purandara Mantapa, King’s Balance and Old Pillar Bridge. 

Later in the evening, we will visit Tungabhadra Dam Garden and Musical Fountain. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in the hotel in Hospet.

DAY 7

Hospet – Hubli

Depart to explore the ancient temples of Aihole and Pattadakal.
Lunch during sightseeing.

Continue to Badami to visit the cave temples.

Overnight stay at the hotel Hubli.

DAY 8

Hubli – Goa

After early breakfast proceed to Goa. 

Start the sightseeing tour upon arrival in Goa: Altinho Hill for a breathtaking view of Panaji city (Panjim); Panjim market; Dona Paula for a view of India’s largest natural harbour Marmgoa.
Old Goa visiting Basillica of Bom Jesus, the Cathedral, St. Cajetan, Church of Lady Rosary and St. Monica. Also visit the Panaji City.
Lunch during sightseeing.

Overnight stay at seaside resort hotel in Goa. 

DAY 9

Goa

In transfer to Goa airport to catch flight
