In Kathmandu.
Breakfast at Hotel
AM: Sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur.
Bhadgaon: A former capital of the valley, it was once a flourishing city on the trade route to Tibet. It has preserved its traditional character better than the other two cities, due to its more isolated location. It is regarded today as a classic showcase of medieval Nepalese town life. It is situated in the east of Kathmandu valley about 14 km. away. It today retains much of its beauty in ornate woodcarvings and in the famed Golden Gate. During sightseeing tour of Bhadgoan they will visit Nyatapola Temple.
PM: Sightseeing tour of Changunarayan.
Changu Narayan: Situated at the end of a long ridge which runs well into the valley, it is said to have been built by King Hari Dutta in 323 AD and said to be the oldest temple in the valley. It was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument List in 1979.Dedicated to the ‘god of preservation’ Vishnu, there is none that is richer in spectacular Licchavi sculpture than the hilltop temple of Changu Narayan. It is located 12 kilometres east of Kathmandu behind Bhaktapur. Alternatively it is pleasant half day hike along the ridge from Nagarkot on the eastern Valley rim.
The lavishly decororated two-tiered temple was rebuilt after a fire in 1702, but the earliest inscription in the Valley dated 464 A.D. testifies to the considerable talents of the Licchavi King Manadeva I, Nepal’s first great historical figure.
The temple stands in a spacious courtyard, littered with priceless stone sculptures from the 4th to 9th century A.D. Licchavi period. This golden age of classical Newari art produced masterpieces that were entirely religious in nature.

Kathmandu- Pokhara by surface( 210 KM/ 07 hours drive approx.).
Breakfast at Hotel
Morning depart for Pokhara on arrival check-in at the hotel.
This afternoon Boat ride on Phewa Lake (approx. 1 Hour)
POKHARA: If Kathmandu is the cultural hub of Nepal, Pokhara is its centre of adventure. An enchanting city nestled beneath the snow-crested Annapurna Massif in a tranquil valley, 200 kilometres west of Kathmandu and takes approximately 06 hours by surface, it is the starting point for many of Nepal’s most popular trekking destinations. The atmosphere on the shore of Phewa Lake is one of excited vitality as hipster backpackers crowd the many bars and restaurants exchanging recommendations on guest houses and viewpoints, both by the lake and above the clouds.
Pokhara is a place of remarkable natural beauty. The serenity of Phewa Lake and the magnificence of the fishtailed summit of Machhapuchhre (6,977m) rising behind it create an ambience of peace and magic. At an elevation lower than Kathmandu and generally a few degrees warmer, it has a tropical feel to it as can be seen by the diversity of beautiful subtropical flora which are found here.
